Why Far Infrared (FIR) Heating?
Why conventional heating lacks efficiency.
In contrast to traditional, infrared heaters are manufactured to replicate the safest portion of the waves emitted by our Sun. Unlike traditional heating they do not move the air in a room, the infrared waves created by your heating system travel through the air until they hit objects.
That objects then absorb the infrared rays, producing a comfortable heat. As infrared is good for the body and works on 5-15 micron Far infrared radiant heat is at a wavelength which matches that at which water naturally resonates so it is a naturally efficient way to heat the body and in particular to assist blood circulation, creating a feeling of deep heat but even if you are not directly in the path of the waves, most objects will radiate the heat towards you.
